there`s always a lesson to be learn

DSC_0281
Apa yg berlaku tu menunjukkan manusia ni bila berbuat dosa, dia terus-terusan melakukan sampailah saat bila mendapat petunjuk Allah (dlm bentuk musibah/peringatan), barulah dia jatuh terduduk tak terkata.

Masih banyak perkara yang belum benar terurus. Umur makin meningkat namun kualiti iman nampak xbertambah-tambah. Layakkah aku bergelar orang beriman?

"Ya Allah, berikanlah kelapangan jiwa dan minda untuk hambaMu bertaubat. Aku tak mahu terusan berada dalam dosa murkaMu"

snowy fieldtrip

40D_4233
i took this picture from inside the bus so the quality is so-so due to the condensed capor on the windshield. Outside is snowy!!!!

did i mention that i had register for the school fieldtrip to Hyundai Motor factory in Asan-nam?

when i am typing this post, actually i just got back from there. Located about 1 hour and a half, Asan is an industrial area in the north part of S. Korea and Hyundai is the biggest factory they have there.

well, my first impression for Hyundai, they deserve the honour from consumers. why? i said i went to a factory but the place were really clean and the most thing that impressed me, how they can assembled a car in 57s?!! so, 63 car in an hour!! that`s show how really hard they are working for the honour.

we had a tour from Press section to the Welding section and lastly to the Coating/Painting section. they do not allow visitor to go to the Assembly part and also the R&D since it is their company policy.

all in one day, i finally understand how they made a car and what i learnt in the class last semester for the Manufacturing Process subject.

ps: i`m in the Final Exam mood. pray me for the best. InsyaAllah kita usaha sama-sama.

i am happy!

40D_0415
i spent my 3 days 2 nights `travel package` in Hong Kong International Airport. This was my hotel!

"Aku kalau boleh nak jadi macam Bill Gates. Duit banyak. Hidup pun senang. Tak payah fikir apa2 dah" salah seorang kawanku menceritakan impiannya.

learn to....

"what is the greatest jihad in Islam?"

"to fight the unbelievers in battle".

Belajarlah menahan nafsu anda.

All For Ummah

AllForUmmah
Berita Harian: just after we were announced as champion for Festival Nasyid Kebangsaan 2005

[Chorus]
Sayup-sayup suara berkumandang di angkasa
Damai indah menusuk di jiwa
Kalimah Tayyibah terus bergema
Tunai kewajipan kita semua

Ayuhlah! Segera bersama
Menyembah Allah yang Esa
Dirikan solat seikhlasnya
Sebagai tanda mukmin berjaya
Tunduk dan taat kepadaNya

Khamsatun aw qat lailan wa nahara
Ij`alu solatan amalain yau miya
Ikhlasan wa sabran wa khusyu`a fiha
Ta`alau naj`al luha dalila

Performing the five solat is a must
it is a duty of every muslim
the act, recitation of prayer are the rukun
starting with the takbir and end with the salam

Alangkah indahnya hidup ini
Dibaluti iman yang suci
Sinar bahagia terus bersemi
mekar di jambangan hati
bersama kasih Rabbul `Izzati
mendapat cinta yang hakiki
cintaNya yang kekal Abadi

saya sangat sukakan lagu ni.  lagu ni sampai sekarang masih diingat oleh kebanyakan Cikgu2 di SMAP Kajang terutama Cikgu Reza (atau dipanggil oleh student Wak Re). pernah satu pagi tu, tengah sedap tidur, kami dikejutkan dengan bunyi motor nyamuk (motor Cgu Reza) dan nyanyian lagu ni oleh dia. habis jadi bahan cerita kami satu hari.

apa2 pun, terima kasih kepada rakan2 All For Ummah yang sama2 berada disitu mencipta kenangan. Wali, Alimy, Napi, Mita, Jaha, Hazrul, Omar, Mus, hafiz hood, Goman, abg Zufar, Aswad dan xlupa kepada Rosli PA.

subzero

today is the most coldest day in this year`s Autumn. From the forecast, chotnun (first snow) will be coming next week which mean in the while, i have to enjoy the cold wind of autumn before the deadliest cold winter come.

and today  i also have an interview (not an interview, more to a counselling) with the Director of International Student Affair. he was asking about how i adapt here, my study and etc. the first impression when i entered his room; he is a cold and strict man! but then, after a minute or two of short conversation, it was a great conversation i think.  well, most of Korean are just like that, the first impression always seems horrible but then, when you start to know them, the things getting quite easy.

ps: he also advised me to practice my Hangukmal (Korean Language) more; since my Hangukmal is kejo keraesso or unimpressive!!

first and foremost

it was such a beautiful place to nurture a good relationship, to think and to reflects yourself back

hands, tongue and heart

IMG_8280
last Summer Traveller`s Camp 08 (STC08). we learn  to share, to give and to change.

On the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say:

"When any one of you sees anything that is disapproved (of by Allah), let him change it with his hand. If he is not able to do so, then let him change it with his tongue. And if he is not able to do so, then let him change it with his heart, though that is the weakest (kind of) faith."

[Muslim]

The last portion of the hadith clearly states that the least a Muslim can do in the case of witnessing an evil act is to change it by his/her heart. This means that he/she should dislike the evil he/she comes across. This is an action of the heart, such as saying: "O Allah, there is nothing that I can do to change this bad situation that You dislike and disapprove except that I hate it to take place. I do not agree to it. O Allah forgive me, guide me and save my heart to be influenced by it."

Unless this action of the heart is practiced, the heart of the believer who witnesses that evil will be subject to be influenced by that evil. A dark spot will be placed in that heart (as stated in another hadith related by al-Bukhari).
With the repetition of such negative attitudes, the heart will be subject to more dark spots placed in it until it is concealed and no longer appreciates what is good and no longer dislikes what is bad or evil. This means that the Muslim who does not practice the lowest level of forbidding the evil, will be subject to turn into being an evil doer him/herself.

awesome = Autumn

last week, we went for a picnic at Yeoido Park. well, this time we were well-prepared; a hot macaroni and a delicious toast and egg for the breakfast, and also not forgotten, hot red tea.

oh and for the video, why i used The Beatles` song? because i love it! there is a message that i want you all to listen and to be ponder.

read more on Yeoido Park

[updated]

There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never ever lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

here is the lyric for this song. in our life, for each every of us, there is this memory that you`ll never forget through all your ages. Either a place or a person. for me, i love my friends the most. maybe that`s the feeling i`ve been through seen this year in S. Korea. Being Tarbiyyahsince  i was a child, i can feel the bond of Ukhuwah especially with those who are in the same group with me.

Tarbiyyah is you lead yourself so you will prepare to lead your friends next.

Imagine that you are outside of a house that is on fire and your friends are trapped inside. More worst,  all of your friends that trapped inside didnt realise that the house are on fire.

Either you stand still outside and watch or you scream and try to help your friends?

firm word is like a tree

a morning with PKS
we had a wonderful picnic this morning at Yeoido Park. Thanks to Ajoi, Hisham and `Ammar for coming.

when i read one of the ayat in Surah Ibrahim,
"Allah meneguhkan (iman) orang2 yg beriman dgn ucapan yg teguh (kalimat tayyibah dlm ayat 24) di dunia dan akhirat; dan Allah sesatkan orang2 yg zalim dan Allah berbuat apa yg dikehendaki"  14:27

A good saying is like a tree.
a tree with a branches that grows strong , a root that goes deep into the soil, and because the soil are good, so do the fruits it bears (14:24~14:26).

Allah gave a comparison as our brain easily extracts an idea from a picture. is it a coincidence that The Quran was written like that?

ps: Enzo Ferrari knows every specifications of the first Ferrari car he made, but Allah who knows every inches, needs, and details of  Enzo Ferrari He made.

running up high

like i promised in my previous entry, here is the pictures i took (plus some from Halmi`s D80). actually this is the first time we hiked up the Mt. Gwanak. the idea was given by Ghani who want to realize what had been written in Surah Al-`Aadiyaat (means the running war horse) as Allah compared human to a horse. this is one way to train a man to have a quality life and prepare a man for future challenges.

we started hiking on a rather flat hill for about 30 minutes and the real challenge took place another 1 1/2 hour that was rather a 45 degree steep track. i was out of breath, my leg were shaking since i only ate 2 sam-gak kimbab..but i had purpose. the purpose that i had to make it to Yonjudae (the highest peak on that mountain) before the sun take place and the morning haze goes away. during the 2 hours, sometime i ran, sometime i walked side by side with my friends, and somehow i was relating that moment to life and started remembering all those moments that i wanted to give up on challenges i faced before. i climbed faster and when i saw the peak, i started running.

the sky was still full of fresh moisture haze when i got to the peak. Although the sky was too bright for a good photography (err actually i`m not good at taking a picture with a bright sky (always overexposed) but as long as i reach the peak, it is the best moment to me. i got a few shots. and i got the shots because i didn`t give up and the scenery from up there became the highlight of the day.  it was the most beautiful scenery and friends i had by my side ever.

ps: the horse start their day early and do their activity also early in the morning. how about us, son of Adam?

sweet talk

IMG_8492
a fresh walk and sweet talk with both of you guys, Ahnaf and Raher.
Rasulullah S.A.W also had a sweet talk with his fellow friends, and one of them is Abu Ayyub al-Anshari Khalid bin Zaid bin Malik bin Najjar.

“Bila engkau solat, maka solatlah seolah-olah kali yang terakhir atau hendak berpisah. Janganlah sekali-kali mengucapkan kata-kata yang menyebabkan engkau mesti meminta maaf! Lenyapkan harapan terhadap apa yang berada di tangan orang lain!”

ps: " Ya Allah, jadikanlah aku di antara orang-orang yang beriman dengan ayatMu dan kata-kata RasulMu. Amin"

passion

one fact that i learnt from Physics class is when the F1 car turn a curve corner, the driver can feel as high as 5G on his body (5 multiply your body weight!).

Formula One (F1) is one of the most expensive Automotive sport in the world. As the car need to be tweaked and tooled for one thing---speed. i love F1 since the day i learnt to know what is television. the speed, the triumph, sound of the engine and also the best part is when the F1 car goes into the Pitspot. this year, 2008, seems the most dramatic finishes to a world title. Lewis Hamilton becoming the sport`s youngest world champion. im really passionate by the way he won the championship.

ps: never give up until you cross the finish line!

bad dream or good dream?

IMG_1754
Singapore at night (i told you to bring tripod...degil!setting ntah apa-apa)

i woke up really early than usual due to bad dream. really early! 3 o'clock in the morning! the dream replayed 4, 5, 6, 7 times by itself and
didnt know how to stop it from replaying back.

it all started with a question from my friend. 'apa plan selepas ni, Ammar?' asked Umair when we were heading back after attended Tun Mahathir`s talk and went for samchi gui (ikan bakar). then the discussion starts to get long. from future prospect, family, world economy crisis, Malaysia current issue to marriage.

sometimes dream is from the devil but sometimes it is as sign from The Creator. there is a lesson for you to be learn. this time, i really want to make up my mind, think seriously about my future and plan well. i plan to make it fast but not in rush. May Allah help me.

Responsible comes more than the time given to you
Tarbiyyah with adequate knowledge and experiences will grow you into a man

crimson red tree

40D_0002
i planned to take autumn`s picture since the tree near my house start to change its colour but my 40D cant even touch by dust because i have no time to do so. duedate Cetusan, exam preparation, with my room that really mess (due to exam..not all time) really made me a busy man. but today, my yolyokhak kyosu (thermodynamics lecturer) really got a bless. he ended the class earlier than usual so i grabbed my gear and went to Deoksugung Palace alone.

the street were really beautiful. imagine that you are surrounded with yellow, orange and crimson red trees along the street, with yoja koppiri (High School student) walk along the street heading home and the blue sky up high really put me on a good mood.  the street stretch about 900 metres from Deoksugung Palace to BIS Restaurant. i think it is a good spot for those who want to take pictures surrounded by crimson yellow tree but dont have time to go to Namisom.

after a walk-around, i then went to Kyobo Bookstore, one of the largest bookstore in Korea. looked for Fluid Mechanics, grab 2 pieces of Rotiboy and went home.

lately, i feel the same feeling. it was last autumn, that i still remember how it was. the feeling you cant describe yourself. is it a feeling of loneliness? or a feeling because you are thinking of someone too much???

i need to see a psychiatrist.

(Language Education Institute`s life). when i was doing my Korean Language study, this choco waffle (초코와플) really made everyone craze about it.

a lot of love

IMG_2531
a busy bus stop in front of my college

i just cant slept last night. instead of wasting my time on the bed and doing nothing, i opened my Dell and watched this movie.
I liked the fact that this film has some great motivation and inspired me.

While flying from Los Angeles to New York, a man named Oliver that meet Emily by accident. They stay together along the day in New York, when Oliver discloses the planning of his life - his future career to become a millionaire - by selling diapers! - successful job and then raising a family. He gives the phone number of his mother to Emily and asks her to call seven years later to check. For seven years, they occasionally meet each other, and in the end, their relationship becomes love.

that is the plot. to me, how Oliver dream and plan to be a millionaire starts with just a small and sometime, laugh by others. he want to sell diapers as he believe by doing so, he can achieve what he planned before. starts with a plan, he really work towards it and in 6 years, he manage to get what he dreamt for.

I enjoyed this film a lot as it didn't try too hard, unlike typical Hollywood films, to come up with a dramatic story or to impress the audience. Also, the slowness of life, the openness to the possibilities, and the warmth of human`s dream and plan really worked for me.

sometimes to put aside Engineering books and surf the Internet can help you to understands one thing better. (but not all huh~banyak ja benda mengarut).
if you have difficulty to understand the current world financial situation, the following should help. it`s a simple analogy i`ve read.

Once upon a time in a village in India, a man announced to the villagers
that he would buy monkeys for $10. The villagers seeing there were
many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching
them.

The man bought thousands at $10, but, as the supply started to
diminish, the villagers stopped their efforts. The man further announced
that he would now buy at $20. This renewed the efforts of the villagers
and they started catching monkeys again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back
to their farms. The offer rate increased to $25 and the supply of
monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let
alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50! However,
since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would
now act as buyer, on his behalf.
In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers: ‘Look at all
these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them
to you at $35 and when he returns from the city, you can sell them back
to him for $50.’

The villagers squeezed together their savings and bought all the
monkeys. Then they never saw the man or his assistant again, only
monkeys everywhere!

sorry for not being a good brother

IMG_2716

fr left: K lang, Ngah, Harith and Zaid with the ball

yesterday, during my Physic class, my mom sent a message. "abg, nak ckp dgn bgcu zaid x? ada dgn dia di Maahd ni".

last holiday, when i was in Malaysia, i spent most of time with my family. had a conversation, laugh and watch television together, played Playstation with my brothers and went for a picnic with my siblings. but there is still some things to regret. i feel that i spent a quality time with abu, umi, kakak, k ngah, k lang, bgcik and Harith but not with Bgcu.
as i remember, i never been too close with him. just a short conversation. and he is kind of quite introvert compared to his brothers, dont talk so much and always hide his real feeling especially in front of my parents.
i already planned to have a man-to-man talk (sound serious haa~) with him, talk about his study, his interests, his ambition and what he plan to do next but time goes by, i never fulfill the plan. oh what a gooood brother i am~~

in 2-3 days, Bgcu will sit for his PMR exam and i wish him and will always pray for his success and hope you will achieve what you plan to do next.

to Bgcu: nanti malam exam tu, abg call ok!!

dream a BIG DREAM

A SHORT LOVE STORY IN STOP MOTION from Carlos Lascano on Vimeo.

A couple of pencil-outlined birds escape from a little girl´s drawing, leading us through the life she dreams of.
maybe the message from this video is clear but couldn't there be something else besides you fall in love with someone, get married, have a children (or dozen of children) and live a happy ending story? well, that`s not what im trying to say here. well, i believe that life need to be fulfill with a BIG DREAM. something that really BIG that`s not only you serve yourself in the 1st place, but your dream can help ppl to have a better life. like if you dream to have alots  of money, then what can you do with the money to help others besides yourself? give yourself time and think, is life just like that? you woke up early in the morning, breakfast, go to work, go home again, dinner and sleep. the next day, you`ll be doing the same thing again and again. doesn`t life need to be share with others?

start to write one

IMG_4507

i don`t know why i start to type this down. rolling myself inside this blogging world. maybe ppl around me always chitchatting about blog.

but from the start, let see what i can do here. mmmm....i just want to keep all my memories through the pictures i took and plus this new blog i just created. share the experience you earn never be the same than keep it to yourself. sometime ppl get inspire by your story and helps to reflect themselves on how they react on the same situation.

for me, i believe that life need to be share. you dont need the feeling to be needed as long as you willing to share.

ps:waht is blog anyway???
